5x7 Inch LED Headlights – ADR Compliant Sealed-Beam Replacements
Our 5x7 inch LED headlights (also commonly listed as 6x7 inch) are rectangular sealed-beam replacements for older vehicles originally fitted with halogen sealed beams. All models on this page are supplied as ADR compliant units with a symmetrical beam pattern.
Direct Replacement for 5x7" / 6x7" Sealed Beams
Many classic cars, trucks, 4x4s and motorcycles use a rectangular sealed-beam headlight. LED upgrades typically connect via a standard H4 high/low plug, with some models including additional wiring for DRL or indicator functions.
ADR Compliance Explained
In Australia, true ADR approved headlights require formal certification and asymmetrical right-hand-drive beam patterns. Due to the universal design of original rectangular sealed-beam headlights, which use a flat (symmetrical) beam pattern, our aftermarket 5×7-inch LED headlights are also designed with a symmetrical low beam to meet ADR requirements for sealed-beam headlamps.
H4 Polarity Converters for Earth-Switched Vehicles
Some older vehicles use an earth-switched headlight circuit, which can cause LED headlights to operate incorrectly. Our H4 polarity converter is a simple inline adapter that restores correct operation without modifying factory wiring.

5x7 Inch LED Headlights – Frequently Asked Questions
Are 5x7 inch LED headlights legal in Australia?
The 5x7" LED headlights on this page are supplied as ADR compliant sealed-beam replacements using a symmetrical beam pattern, similar to traditional halogen sealed beams.
What is the difference between ADR approved and ADR compliant headlights?
ADR approved headlights are formally tested and certified to Australian Design Rules and typically use an asymmetrical right-hand-drive cut-off. ADR compliant headlights are designed to meet the intent of the Australian Design Rules, including key electrical and on-road lighting performance requirements. Rectangular sealed-beam replacements are supplied in ADR compliant symmetrical form the same as your old halogen lights.
What vehicles use 5x7 inch LED headlights?
5x7" LED headlights are commonly used in classic cars, 4x4s, trucks and motorcycles originally fitted with rectangular sealed-beam headlights. Applications include older Toyota LandCruiser models, Nissan Patrols, Jeep vehicles, Kenworth trucks and many motorcycles.
Do 5x7 inch LED headlights plug straight in?
Most models are plug-and-play using a standard H4 connector. Vehicles with earth-switched headlight circuits may require an H4 polarity converter.
Can I buy a single headlight or only a pair?
We supply both single units (commonly for motorcycles) and pairs for vehicles using dual 5x7" headlights.
Do your 5x7 inch LED headlights include DRL options?
Yes. The range includes Classic non-DRL versions, models with white DRL/position lights, and selected variants with integrated amber indicators.
