Buy Bulb Spares!

HID Bulbs have a life of around 3500hrs, which is ten times the life of a standard halogen bulb. You can buy spare bulbs on the left hand side via PayPal, or credit card.
If you are not sure please call us on 1300 775 359 for expert advice.
We have over 15yrs experience in the Auto Electrical industry so we can help you decide which bulb will suit your needs.

HID Bulbs come in the following configurations, but OEM Manufacturers have their own part numbers which you will have to cross reference to match their generic names.
Note**** When buying HID Bulbs, all OEM D1 and D2 series are standard 35w.
We recommend only 35w for any low beam application.
On a HID system the bulbs mainly dictates the colour temperature. Anywhere between 4300 Kelvin and 6000 kelvin will give you the best light out put, any colour temperature above or below this you will start to lose light depth.
Generally...
The ballast dictates the power output and the bulb dictates the colour. If you buy a 55w 4300k bulb, and you are still running a 35w ballast, it wont make it any brighter. You would need to buy a 55w ballast.
You can buy many different colours for show cars, from pink to purple, but the best light for seeing at night is between 4300k and 6000k.

Note*** H/L or High Beam/Low Beam combination double filament bulbs are available in a HID in either "Bi-Xenon", or "Solenoid Driven". The Bi-Xenon HID H/L Bulb is the older style bulb whereby you have 2x HID Bulbs in different positions in the one bulb. In the latest type H4 H/L Bulbs they are solenoid driven. This means that in the same the same way as a double filament halogen H4 bulb has two filaments in different positions within the bulb, a solenoid driven HID H4 H/L bulb moves the position of the HID Bulb from the high beam filaments position to the low beam position. The new style of H4 is instantaneous so that there is no delay switching from high beam to low beam, and also uses less power by being powered by a single ballast for both positions.
